The Power of Hot Chocolate and Other Warm Drinks You Need to Try

Not in the mood for a coffee? This might sound crazy to some coffee lovers, but hey, why not try something different?

Many people start their day with a coffee; it wakes them up and helps them start their morning off. So why not have a nice drink in the afternoon or evening to help you relax?

 

Hot Chocolate

Hot Chocolate can be really comforting and help you relax.

Hot Chocolate is a yummy treat and can be used with any milk. This is great for dairy-free or vegan as any kind of nut milk can be supplemented. 

There are many great powder hot chocolates at the supermarket, but if you feel a little decadent, we suggest melting some chocolate and adding warm milk. 

 

Green Tea

Green tea has many health benefits, including the fact that it can improve your endurance during exercise. Scientifically it has been proven that the antioxidants in green tea can help the body to burn fat as fuel.

The antioxidants in green tea can also help to keep your body healthy. Though the scientific evidence is mixed, it is believed that the tea properties help tgreen tea in reusable cupo fight off a whole list of cancers and lower the risk of a heart attack. Plus, let's not forgot the simple fact that it is hydrating and delicious!

 

Honey, Lemon and Ginger Tea

Sometimes, it is nice to keep things simple. 

Place a teaspoon of honey, a big squeeze of lemon, and few fresh ginger pieces in a mug or Uppercup and pour in the hot or boiling water. 

It will help with any cold or flu symptoms and is often found to help people relax.

 

Turmeric Latte 

Surprisingly easy to make, this drink is something different that is thought to have great anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits.

Simply add the below ingredients to a saucepan and gently mix over low heat until warm. 

 

350ml almond milk (or any milk of your choice)

¼ tsp ground turmeric

¼ tsp ground cinnamon

¼ tsp ground ginger

½ tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp maple syrup

 

Suppose you are going out to get a hot drink to bring your Uppercup or reusable coffee cup. Uppercup doesn't retain odors or smells so that you can enjoy the pure aroma of your hot chocolate or tea.
